Online Dating

Our life’s are being bombarded with visions of trying to find the perfect partner.  Are we in the age were we are just not happy with what we have got and have to see if each patch of grass is greener.

All these online profiles such as face book etc are now causing splits in relationships as old flames think they can rekindle there school sweetheart and not thinking of the changes or the consequences, thus only lasting a few months as the disruptions from the previously scorned relationship takes it told on the new relationship and the new couple find that things were not the same as they where all those years ago.

What has happed to the good old days, were people were single and went out to socialise to find a new partner face to face, not just if they can be bothered to log on and set up a profile full of lies to encourage through false advertising a new beau.  If you have not got time to go out and learn how to communicate properly and honestly without having to sit behind a screen all the time then how are you suppose to communicate and compromise once you achieve to find someone that may be vaguely compatible.

I am not sceptic to those finding love through the powers of the world wide web, but surely it take the fun away from those little things that are important in striking up a a new relationship, It has been known for some people to have really happy and committed lives via these online dating agencies.

The problem we have nowadays is we are not happy with what we have and look on and join these sites while still being in a relationship, because heaven forbid we wake up and have the guts to end a relationship before another person is lined up, I mean where is the point in that? First you should correct or end a relationship and learn to live with that decision and learn who you are again and what you are looking for in a partner and life.

If relationships in your life keep failing, don’t just blame the other person, look at the cause it could be closer to home than you think. Do not just ponder through your already existing relationship looking for a way out or having an affair, it does nothing but cause upset, heartache and the ability to not trust anyone for a very long time afterwards.

So just think, before you decide to log on and make an online portfolio of yourself asking for a knight in shining armour with a good sense of humour who enjoys walks on the beach, ask yourself why are you doing this, why is the other person doing this, are they lying on their profile and are they already in a relationship, just looking for some fun, because if they have done it to you they can do it again.

It’s the same with affairs, if you let yourself get involved with a married man, and you believe the spiel they give you, the sneaking around and deceiving telephone calls to the wife/husband, what make you think they will be faithful this time.

If you want a true relationship make sure you are both single, that no one else is involved so not one else gets hurt, and start the relationship how you want it to go on, honest, open and true.

Most often the grass is not always greener, it just looks it. With all things that look to god to be true, they usually are.

New Age Limit On Cigarette Sales

under 16 illegal to smoke

The legal age to purchase cigarettes has been raised to 18 years old today, an anti smoking organisation says this could be pointless if not properly enforced.

The change in the law has become effective as from today in Scotland, campaigners say that this act must also be backed with policies and funding for cessation and prevention work.

Previously those aged from 16 could purchase tobacco, but last month MSPs voted unanimously for the move.

The Chief Executive Of Ash Scotland Maureen Moore said “ Increasing the purchase age can reduce smoking rates, but only if the law is properly implemented”

“We need to equip our local authority officers with enforcement tools to help them do their job”

“Ash Scotland supports the introduction of licensing the scheme for tobacco retailers along with the introductions of fixed fines.”

Ms Moore said figures show 82% of 15-year-old smokers buy cigarettes from shops themselves. But only 17 traders have been convicted for related offences in the last six years.

She added: “A licensing system which means you could have your licence to sell cigarettes suspended or revoked would be much more of a deterrent.”

Shop owners are now required to display signs in their windows and could face fines or prosecution if found selling to under 18 year olds.

Critics have accused the government of a “woefully inadequate” advertising campaign about the change.

James Lowman of The Association of Convenience Stores said: “This change in the law that will lead to thousands of 16 to 18-year-olds and even more over 18s being asked for proof of age.”

He said that there was a risk that refusal of sale could “lead to flashpoints, abuse, intimidation and even violence.”http://dirtydaydreamsonline.com//shop/index.php?cPath=207&osCsid=2e2433eed4fce323fa801ce936ea0bb3
